Greg Goodfliesh is former Vice President, Â鶹´«Ã½X, the global business innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (Â鶹´«Ã½). Greg is based both in Hong Kong and in California¡¯s (U.S.) Silicon Valley, providing Â鶹´«Ã½X with local conduits to cutting-edge digital developments.
Prior to his current appointment, Greg served as Managing Director, Â鶹´«Ã½X Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s Asia Innovation team. Previously, he served concurrently as head of business development for Â鶹´«Ã½ Japan as well as the Global Financial Solutions lead for Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s Asia Pacific region, and before then, as Director of Business Development for Â鶹´«Ã½ Australia, where he was an integral member of the team that enabled Â鶹´«Ã½ to become the largest life reinsurer in Australia.
Before moving to Australia in 2004, Greg was a Vice President and Actuary in Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s Global Financial Solutions unit, and was based in Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. He was responsible for the pricing, structuring, evaluation and monitoring of all asset-intensive transactions reinsured by Â鶹´«Ã½. Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½ in 1997, he was with American Express, where he was responsible for the pricing, cash flow testing, and asset liability management of several product lines.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
